Waxing Specialist

Job Title: Waxing and Hair Removal Esthetician

Experience: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in waxing and hair removal techniques. This experience should encompass various areas of the body and different types of wax (soft, hard, strip).

Skills:

  • Proficient in a wide range of waxing techniques, including Brazilian, bikini, facial, and body waxing.
  • Thorough knowledge of different skin types, hair textures, and how they affect the waxing process.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of sanitation, hygiene and cleanliness in the treatment area and tools.
  • Skilled in providing a comfortable and relaxing experience to clients while minimizing discomfort during the waxing process.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure precise and effective hair removal.
  • Knowledge of post-waxing care and recommendations to prevent ingrown hairs and irritation.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient appointment scheduling and minimal wait times for clients.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and measures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe environment for clients.

Team Player: The candidate should be comfortable working in a team environment and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a seamless client experience.

Professional Development: A commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge is desirable.

Compensation: Hourly wage starting at $20 per hour with the opportunity to move up to $25 per hour. 10% Commission on product sales.

Physical Stamina: The role may involve standing for extended periods and performing repetitive motions, so physical fitness and stamina are important.

Esthetician

Job Title: Esthetician

  • Strong understanding of skin conditions such as acne, aging, hyperpigmentation, and sensitivity.
  • Excellent knowledge of facial massage techniques to promote relaxation and improved circulation.
  • Expertise in addressing client concerns and providing personalized recommendations for maintaining healthy skin.
  • High attention to detail to ensure precise and effective application of products and treatments.
